Overhead crane and lifting tackles
We Maintain and repair Overhead Crane, lifting tackles, chain blocks, lever blocks and all lifting machine. each an everything we do under the SANS standards and Labour standards. E.g. SANS 10375 of 2018 specific on Inspection and Testing of Overhead crane, that dwell on daily Inspection, Frequent Inspection and major Inspection and Load Test yearly. All the load Test certificates must be filled and Three months Service must filled as a proof of service and records, each crane must have logbook so that we keep it on record. Verification of hooks(bottom block), checking the size of a rope , air gape on motors brake, do adjustments on brakes, check shivels and grooves on rope drum, oil level, change if needed, checking flanges on long travels weeks and cross
travels. We check exactly mechanical and Electrical, bearings on Hoists. everything we do under the Laws of Driven Machinery Regulations 18, SANS 10375
and Labour standards
